NEW YORK — There was more than one union first in New York City on Friday.
Workers at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Chelsea Market voted to unionize.
It’s now the first flagship store to unionize with Starbucks Workers United and is the 10th unionized Starbucks in the country.
Amazon workers on Staten Island also voted to unionize Friday, becoming the first-ever union at the multi-billion dollar company.
